During the month of March, Emesa’s facilities have served as a meeting point for numerous experts in civil engineering from around the world. Interested in the management and maintenance of infrastructures and complex traffic routes such as the M-30, they have come to the company’s facilities to learn in situ about the daily challenges that Emesa professionals face as a model of success.
On March 21st, there was a joint visit with a group of civil engineers from Typsa and from the Swedish company VIA-Q. This non-European company, based in Gothenburg, is a Swedish leader within the construction and civil engineering sector and specialises in the integral management of urban development and infrastructure projects. Its CEO, Anders Berg, visited Emesa, accompanied by engineers from his team.
Likewise, on the xx of this month, a commission from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) went to Emesa’s headquarters thanks to Ferrovial. The group is investigating the connectivity of the self-driving car with infrastructure, and its objective was to expand the information and learn first-hand about Emesa’s procedures, methodology and real-time traffic evaluation system (SETTRE), as well as the pilot of the C-Roads project led by Madrid Calle30 that Emesa is participating in.
