Emesa received a visit from the Norwegian tunnel signalling and safety company Merking&Sikring on Wednesday 22 August, accompanied by representatives of specialised engineering in tunnel safety, Tecasem, in order to get to know the control centre and other facilities of the Madrid Calle 30 tunnels.
During the visit, attended by Rubén Irazabal, Manager of the Process Control and Optimization area and by Dulce Rodríguez, industrial engineer belonging to this area, the representatives from Merking&Sikring received first-hand information on the management and maintenance of Madrid’s main ring road.
The Control Centre for the M-30 is in charge of managing, organising and coordinating all the traffic that uses the M-30 on a daily basis and is one of the biggest and most advanced in the world. Interest from a company such as Merking&Sikring to learn about Emesa services is further demonstration of its commitment to the safety and comfort of the users that travel on the M30.
