Facilities maintenance

We perform the inspection and maintenance of the facilities and systems which allow proper traffic flow in the M-30 context.

In addition to ensuring the optimum preservation of all the infrastructural elements, we perform the inspection and maintenance of the facilities and systems that allow proper traffic flow in its context, which turn the M-30 into one of the most state-of-the-art urban roads in the world in terms of safety.

Broadly speaking, and among other elements, facilities maintenance includes the M-30 CCTV system, the high voltage network deployed in the tunnels, the variable-message signs that warn, regulate, inform and guide users on different situations and the SOS posts.

In addition to these facilities, which have a significant infrastructural endowment, maintenance also includes the linear heat detection systems, comprised of a network of thermal sensors that monitor temperature throughout the tunnels; the PA system; the radio communication system, which, basically, makes it possible to receive signals from the outside and introduce them into the tunnels through antennas and radio communication cabinets; and, remarkably, the Automatic Incident Detection (AID) system which, thanks to the images from the M-30 surveillance system, allows the automatic detection of different incidents in tunnels (for example, a vehicle stopped for reasons unrelated to traffic, a vehicle driving on the wrong side, the presence of pedestrians, etc.)
